Lee Peet - Director/Liverpool Branch Manager
Lee is our go to man in the Liverpool office. Reporting directly to Ged, Lee has overall responsibility for the day to day operations of the branch, with all staff reporting directly to him. Lee joined Lloyds in March 1999 at 17 years old as an accounts assistant achieving his NVQ level 2 in Business Admin. 13 years in this role gave Lee an understanding of all aspects of the business and when the branch manager role become vacant in 2012, Lee decided to apply. After a strict recruitment process from candidates both internal and external, Lee fought off the competition and was offered his current role as branch manager. Lee admits that despite the experience he had already gained and all the things he had learned in the previous 13 years, it was the first 12 months as Manager that was the steepest learning curve. However, his ability to man manage, efficiency and organisation skills ensured that he would succeed. Testament to Lee’s hard work and competency, the proudest moment in Lee’s career arrived in March 2016 when Lee was awarded a directorship at Lloyds.
Lee left school at 16 and pursued a career in vehicle mechanics before deciding that he wanted to join the armed forces. After serving with the Royal Irish Regiment in Northern Ireland, another of Lees proud moments for both him and his family was his passing out parade in Catterick. Despite being offered the chance to re-join the army he chose to seek employment closer to his family, the rest as we say is history.
