The History of Lloyds Autobody Manchester

Lloyds Autobody Manchester, based in Wythenshawe and serving Cheshire and the rest of the North West was established in August 2000 and has since grown to become Manchester’s premier manufacturer approved accident repair centre.

Sports, Performance and Luxury Car Body Repairs in Manchester

Since 1987, Lloyds Autobody has received Manufacturer Approvals for several prestige brands. In 1999, after 10 years as a Porsche approved repairer and following on from being awarded the Porsche body shop of the year award in 1998, Porsche requested that Lloyds Autobody opened a branch in Manchester to serve its customer base in that area.

In 2000, Lloyds Autobody Manchester opened its doors for business and since then our dedication to quality and service has been recognised, such that we have been awarded manufacturer approvals for several other prestige and performance car manufacturers including Rolls Royce, Bentley and McLaren.

Equipped with the latest technology and factory trained technicians, we process accident repairs for all leading insurance and vehicle management companies, specialising in accident repairs and modifications for most prestige vehicle manufacturers. We are proud to maintain a close working partnership with our main dealership network which include Bentley, Rolls Royce and McLaren Manchester dealerships for the Sytner Group.

The team is led by Branch Manager Roy Hartwell, who has been based at our Manchester Branch since it opened in 2000. Roy has over 30 years’ experience in the industry working with such iconic brands as Rolls Royce, McLaren, Porsche, Aston Martin, Lagonda, Ferrari and Bentley. Roy has an unrivalled reputation for being at the very top of his game and the relationship Roy has developed with key players in the industry has been a huge factor in the success of our Manchester Branch.

I wanted to personally thank you and all your team for your professional service and fantastic workmanship on my Bentley Bentayga. Your company was recommended to me by Bentley Manchester and I have been so impressed with your quality of customer care and detailed craftsmanship carried out by your engineers. Our car sustained low speed impact to the front wing while park up which we thought was very minor. On assessing the car your engineers reviewed every aspect in great detail and while the estimate shocked us in terms of overall cost it is clear to see from the end result your attention to detailed was necessary and rewarded. Just a short message to thank you for the first class service provided by you after the accident I had in my car. From me receiving your call requesting the insurance claim number, you handled everything and gave regular, informative updates right through to delivery of the car which, as you said it would, arrived in pristine condition.
